About LEVEL Motion

LEVEL Motion is a Canadian technology company developing wearable motion sensors and software to capture and analyze human movement data.

Our work focuses on helping researchers study human movement, biomechanics and gait. We also see applications for clinicians and rehabilitation professionals.

Our Story

LEVEL Motion began at the University of Waterloo, where engineers with experience in robotics and motion estimation saw an opportunity to make movement measurement more accessible.

The idea was to develop wearable technology that could capture human movement without relying solely on traditional laboratory-based motion capture systems.

That initial idea led to the development of LEVEL Sensors and its app — a system designed to help researchers capture and analyze human movement data.

Our team works across these areas to develop and support the LEVEL Sensors system.

Mardig Sevadjian – CEO

A serial entrepreneur with expertise in manufacturing, healthcare and startups. Mardig acquired Cardon Rehabilitation and founded LEVEL Motion to push rehabilitation technology forward.
